Neuropathy can be idiopathic (occurs with no known reason) or have specific causes such as diabetes, chemotherapy, medications, surgeries, alcohol, spinal issues, epidurals/injections in the spine.
It uses different technologies such as specialized non-TENS electrical stimulation therapy, laser therapy, Shockwave therapy, hands on techniques and exercises to help with nerve healing. Requires specialty training beyond standard Physical Therapy care.
